How CinematicDirector.ai collects, uses, and protects information about visitors and customers. Written in plain language, no dark patterns.
Effective date: May 30, 2026 · Contact: the form at cinematicdirector.ai
CinematicDirector.ai is an independent AI-native creative studio run by Mike Zapata. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, and how to make us stop. If anything here is unclear, ask through the contact form at cinematicdirector.ai and we will answer in writing.
What we collect
We collect two kinds of information. The first is what you give us on purpose. The second is what your browser sends automatically when you load a page.
Information you submit. When you fill out an email capture form, a contact form, or an order form on this site, we receive the data you enter. That typically means your email address, and sometimes your name, phone number, or a short note about the project you want help with. Forms are powered by GoHighLevel and the submission is stored in our customer database there.
Information collected automatically. When you visit a page we log standard request data (IP address, browser type, referring page, the URL you viewed, and the timestamp) through the third-party analytics and advertising tools listed below. Some pages also load Instagram embed iframes that may set cookies on your device from Meta when they render.
Third-party tools we use
- Google Analytics 4. Tracks aggregated page views, sessions, and traffic sources so we know which guides are useful. Sets first-party cookies.
- Google Ads. Measures whether an ad click led to a form submission. Sets advertising cookies and may build a remarketing audience.
- Meta Pixel. Same role as Google Ads, for Facebook and Instagram campaigns. Sets advertising cookies in your browser when allowed.
- GoHighLevel. Hosts our forms, email sends, and customer database. Anything you submit lands here.
- Instagram embed.js iframes. Some articles embed real reels from @theavamoreno. These iframes are served by Meta and follow Meta's own cookie and tracking rules.
- Cloudflare. Serves images and provides basic edge security. May log request metadata.
How we use the information
Submitted contact data is used to reply to you, deliver the resource you requested, send the occasional studio update, and, if you bought something, fulfill that order. Analytics and advertising data is used in aggregate to understand which pages are worth our time and to show ads to people who already visited. We do not sell your data. We do not rent lists. We do not share email addresses with third parties for marketing.
Cookies and opt-out
Your browser controls cookies. You can clear them, block them, or set "Do Not Track" in the browser settings. Most ad blockers will also stop the Google Ads and Meta Pixel scripts from loading at all, which is a clean way to opt out site-wide.
To opt out of Google's advertising cookies directly, visit adssettings.google.com. For Meta, visit your Facebook ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences.
Your rights (GDPR, EU and UK)
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another GDPR jurisdiction, you have the right to ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to stop processing it, and receive a copy in a portable format. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. To use any of these rights, submit a request through the contact form at cinematicdirector.ai with the email address you submitted and a short description of what you want done. We respond within thirty days, usually faster.
Your rights (CCPA, California)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you in the last twelve months, ask us to delete it, and opt out of any sale or share of that information. We do not sell personal information. To make any of these requests, use the contact form at cinematicdirector.ai. We will not retaliate, refuse service, or charge a different price for using these rights.
How to delete your data
Use the contact form at cinematicdirector.ai, include the address you signed up with, write "Delete my data," and we will remove your record from the GoHighLevel customer database and unsubscribe you from all email lists. Analytics logs are retained on Google and Meta servers per their own retention windows and we cannot delete those individually, but we can stop adding to them.
Children
This site is built for adult creators, marketers, and operators. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a minor submitted a form, email us and we will delete the record.
Changes to this policy
If the data we collect or the tools we use change, we update this page and refresh the effective date at the top. The current version always lives at cinematicdirector.ai/privacy.
Questions, requests, complaints. One channel handles everything: the contact form at cinematicdirector.ai. A real person reads it.
